An
Alternative to
Pumpkin Carving
As you know,
fall is my
favorite time of
year. I love all
the bright
colors ...
especially
pumpkins! As a
Christian and
knowing the
history behind
carving faces
into pumpkins...
I just can't
bring myself to
do it.
But, my pumpkins
looked so plain.
So I discovered
this idea (last
year) and much
to my
surprise... I
see they sell
something
similar in a
Christian
catalog! I got
to thinking that
maybe others are
searching for an
alternative to
pumpkin carving.

You will
need:
Several
pumpkins of
different sizes
(I used
artificial ones)
One tube of
Black
Dimensional
Fabric Paint
Choose your
phrase or
scripture and
pencil them in
on your pumpkin.
Then go over top
of it in the
fabric paint.
You can do
little pumpkins
... big pumpkins
... or
artificial ones
like I did. I
store my
pumpkins in a
clear plastic
tub and they
look "good as
new" the next
year! Have fun!
