Sunsets

I just spent the
most wonderful afternoon reading "Sunsets" and I am overwhelmed
by the sheer emotion of it.
The Author takes us
on a Journey with a family that is losing a husband and father
to cancer. It is the last few weeks of his life and
Hospice is there to support the family. With the first
vignette I was hooked in and feeling personally attached to this
man and his family.
Through this family,
Deborah takes us through the dying experience - physically,
emotionally, spiritually. It is absolutely incredible.
If you know someone
who is dying or if you have a friend who is losing someone -
this book is powerful. Read it yourself first - then give
it to them. You'll be better equipped to minister to them
and be there through every moment.
